We are happy to announce that we are back!

After a few ‘stop-start’ years with Covid and the almost disappearance of cheap cars, we are thrilled to welcome you back to the exciting world of Crumball Rally! Whether you're a seasoned rally enthusiast or new to the adventure, we're planning new locations, fresh challenges and more fun for everyone. As ever it’s all about the camaraderie and the thrill of the drive… not to mention the ever-present danger of breaking down!

Get ready for some high-octane excitement! Our next rally event is just around the corner.

Upcoming Rallies

We have three exciting rallies for you to choose from.

The Italian Job (2025)

Back in 2007 we launched Crumball Rally on this ‘pilgrimage’ to the sites of the legendary Michael Caine crime caper. The stunning alpine passes, mad bustle of Turin, and opulence of Monaco and Nice never fail to impress, and we’re delighted to kick off our 31st event with this classic route.

Grand Prix (2026)

Next year we’ll be returning again to Monte Carlo, this time coinciding with the bi-annual historic Grand Prix. Running from North East France and heading over the Alps to Lake Como, this is one for motorsport fans as we stop by the racing circuits at Reims and Monza before ending in Nice, which gives the opportunity to watch the spectacle of the nearby Monaco race.

Back to the Future (2026)

Also next year, we’ll be embarking on a brand new adventure, loosely themed on the eighties and nineties.. Snaking us down France and through the Bordeaux wine region, we’ll be heading over the Pyrenees, before ending in the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona!

So, whats new at Crumball Rally?

As the original organiser of Banger Rallies, painting up old wrecks and trying to coax them over the mountains will always remain core to the ethos of our events. However we recognised a few years ago that cheap cars were increasingly difficult to get hold of, and also that many participants wanted the opportunity to take classic convertibles over the mountains, without necessarily wanting to compromise the event’s character. This is why we introduced the ‘Ragtop’ class (for any small engined 2 seater convertible) back in 2014. Next year we’re launching ‘Back to the Future’, where in addition to bangers, we’ll welcome any car from the 80s and 90s. Period dress will of course be obligatory!! In such a way we’ll try to evolve the rally, but without ever compromising its low cost, fun spirit…

This year the organising team is joined by Porsche, one of our most dedicated, long term marshalls, with 12 rallies under his belt.. As well as being dedicated to always having a good time, he’s committed to creating new routes and bonkers challenges. We'd love however to hear any ideas and suggestions that you may have. (Perhaps put a picture in?)
